The objective of your first consultation with Dr Lebahar is twofold: It will allow you to get to know him, and allow him to determine your orthodontic needs.

This first consultation is mandatory whether you are a child, an adolescent or an adult.

Upon your arrival, you will need to complete a small information questionnaire and you will be asked to join the orthodontist in the treatment area. You can be accompanied by a parent or a friend if you wish.

Upon your arrival, you will need to complete a small information questionnaire and you will be asked to join the orthodontist in the treatment area. You can be accompanied by a parent or a friend if you wish.

He will outline the advantages and inconveniences of the various available orthodontic treatments.

It is our duty to provide you with all the necessary information to assist you in taking a decision about your treatment. There is never a treatment obligation: you are free to decide whether to commence a treatment or not.

If no treatment appears necessary at the point in time where you have your first consultation, the orthodontist will explain this to you and give you the information you need to consider a treatment at a later date which may be more suitable for a stable outcome. In certain cases it can be too soon to start an efficient and stable orthodontic treatment. If this is your situation, Dr Lebahar will suggest periodic meetings at the practice to re-evaluate the situation on an ongoing basis so that he can monitor the growth of the jaws and the teeth’s development.

Once the appropriate time for the start of a treatment has arrived, and provided you wish to go ahead, we will start a series of meetings to prepare the diagnostic documents: dental impressions for the preparation of dental castings, radiographies and photos. Dr Lebahar will also explain the treatment plan adapted to your needs as well as the steps involved.
